Ian walked down hall of the Pentagon, passing a few other agents, but he paid no attention to any of them. Ian turned and opened the door to a large office. He turned the latch and locked the door. On the door to the room had Ian’s name on it. He quickly shut his door and sighed. He walked over to a large bookcase and took out a book. The book case began to move inwards and swung in, like a door. Ian looked down at a stair case and began to walk down them.
Ian had found the past few weeks to be rather annoying for him. After the arrest of court marshal of Saki, he had not only his own duties, but all of Saki’s duties. He purposed for another director of the Human Protection Agency, but was denied. Ian clenched his fist as he finally had a chance to check on his latest project.
Ian walked into a large lab area with four scientist in lab coats.
“Ian, we didn’t expect you today.” The eldest scientist said.
“I wanted to see what information you were able to find out.” Ian asked. The scientist walked to a tube the held the broken Sword of Tengu in it.
“We found that this sword holds the same properties that Isla Nublar holds.” The Scientist said.
“Interesting, so they had knowledge of Sword of Tengu to make it, and to cover whatever secrets the island holds.” Ian said as he began to walk back towards the stairs.
“Where are you going sir?” A scientist asked.
“I think it’s time for an island getaway.” Ian said as he chuckled.
At the Battle Nexus, the battlefield was cleared other then Ryan and Zach. They stood at opposite ends of the arena and prepared to fight off.
The other participants of the Battle Nexus were on two platforms next to the platform where Zato stood. Dustin, Tyler, Nate, and Kyle stood close to the edge, ready to watch there friends fight it off. Brandon stood on the other platform, interested in the battle as well.
“You know Zach, you should give up now.” Ryan smiled.
“Why would I do that?” Zach questioned.
“We all know how the Deidara versus Gaara battle ended. This will end the same.” Ryan chuckled. Zach just smirked.
“Not likely. Gaara was protecting his village; I’m just fighting you for fun.” Zach crackled his knuckles as the ground below them shook. The outside of the battlefield rose up and created a barrier around the fighters. They looked around as it stood ten feet over there heads.
“Unless one of you wants to back down, let the Games BEGIN!” Zato announced as Zach made the first move. Zach extended his arm forward, and a strand of sand formed.
“Sand Spear!” Zach yelled as the sand formed into a spear and launched at Ryan. Ryan jumped of the way, and the spear collided into the wall behind him.
“Zach, you have to come up with some new tricks.” Ryan said as he put his hands behind his back and then revealed two kunai. Ryan threw them both towards Zach.
“Kunai? Easily taken care of.” Zach extended his arm as a wall of sand flowed out of the Sand Sheaths, formed a solid wall of sand in front of him. The Kunai hit and stuck into the sand wall. “Ryan you have to try harder.”
“Do I?” Ryan smirked as he called his hands together. “Detonate!” Zach raised an eyebrow confused as the Kunai began to glow.
“Oh crap!” Zach said as the Kunai exploded, blasted the sand wall into pieces and blasted Zach back, making him hit his back on the barrier. Zach looked up quickly. “When did you come up with Clay Kunai?”
“Just now.” Ryan said as he opened his palm up and a small mouth opened as another Kunai flowed out and he grabbed the end of it with his fingers. He copied the same motion with his other hand. He then threw them towards Zach again. Zach rolled out of the way as the Kunai as the stuck into the wall.
“Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.” Zach smiled. Ryan then placed his hands together.
“Then shame on you. Detonate!” Zach turned his head over his shoulder as he saw the Kunai glowing.
“Oh Shi,” The Kunai exploded as Zach was thrown forward, hitting his head on the ground hard, and skid on the ground in front of Ryan.
“I know you thought this battle would be an easy win. It’s true that I’m not the best in close combat fighting,” Zach looked up at Ryan. “But I won’t give up easily.” Suddenly Zach smirked. From his Sand Sheaths sand formed into a giant fist and smashed into Ryan. Ryan yelled in a pain as he was thrown back. He landed on his feet as he skid back a few feet. Zach pushed himself up.
“I’m glad it’s not an easy battle Ryan. I was hoping for a challenge.” Zach said as he prepared himself to battle.
“Wow, I’m surprised at Ryan.” Tyler said. “I never thought he would be effective at all in close combat.”
“Ryan might of not have a lot of experience with one on one combat, but his mind works faster then Zach’s.” Nate said. “But Zach fighting style is more sporadic, almost randomly aggressive, which could mess up Ryan, as we just saw.”
“They’re enjoying this battle that’s for sure.” Kyle looked over at Dustin confused. “They are testing each other, enjoying every move they make. Zach normally gets mad at stuff like this, even when fighting a friend. But he’s seems to be having a little bit of fun.”
“I just hope he doesn’t lose control.” Nate whispered to himself so the others could hear him, as he watched his brother.
Brandon stood in disbelief at Ryan ad Zach. There power was amazing. He was shocked to see they had become so powerful. Brandon looked over to the other, wondering if they were as strong, maybe stronger then himself.
“I’m not going to hold back Ryan!” Zach yelled as a block of sand formed from the Sand Sheaths. “Rapid Sand Ball!” Zach said.
“Wow Zach, can you come up with better names?” Ryan chuckled as three Sand Balls formed from the giant block and flew towards Ryan. Ryan opened his palms and concentrated and formed 3 Clay Birds. “I know your plan Zach,” Ryan declared as the birds flew and collided with the Sand Balls, destroying the sand.
“I doubt you do.” Zach commented as dozens of more Sand Balls formed from the sand block and launched towards Ryan. Ryan’s eyes grew wide as he formed half a dozen Clay birds. The birds flew and intercepted a few of the Sand Balls, but the rest continued to fly towards him.
“Damn.” Ryan said as he ducked out of the way, and the Sand Balls hit the back wall, covering a small portion of the field in sand. Ryan looked behind him to see he had less room behind him until he was in an area that Zach could control. Zach laughed.
“You can’t block every Sand Ball, and soon the entire field will be mine.” Zach extended his arm out and more Sand Balls flew out towards Ryan. Ryan opened his palm and formed enough Clay Birds to stop the Balls. The Birds flew out and blew up the Sand Balls. “Once I have control of the field I will have won this battle.” Another dozen Sand Balls flew out. Ryan grinded his teeth as he dove forward, letting the sand balls hit the back wall. Ach then forces the sand to even out, covering more of the Battlefield. Ryan was on the edge of the solid part of the field as he looked up at Zach and smirked.
“You’re taking this seriously.” Ryan laughed a bit.
“Why shouldn’t I? If we don’t push each other to our limits, who will?” Zach said. “We were lucky with the Shredder.” Zach opened his arm up and split the sand into hundreds of tiny Sand Balls. Ryan looked up in the air in shock. Zach looked up at as well. Ryan looked back at Zach.
“Something’s wrong.” Ryan said. Zach laughed as he moved his head down, and he was different. His eyes were now black with yellow irises. Ryan took a step back.
“Your explosions hit Zach’s head a little too hard, so I decided to take over.” Zach said in a deeper voice of Shukaku. “Too bad it’s against the rules to kill your opponent, don’t you think?” Zach chuckled as the Sand Balls began to widen out and cover the area around them.
“Dammit!” Ryan yelled as his hands began to tremble. Ryan bent down on the ground and placed his hands on the ground. He closed his eyes to concentrate. Zach looked at him curiously.
“Oh what is this? Grasping to so hope? Well not today!” Zach yelled as the Sand Balls fell from the sky towards the ground. Suddenly the ground below them shook. One of the panels of the battlefield rose up from the ground, covered in clay. “What is this crap? You shouldn’t be able to summon clay from that deep!” Another pillar rose. Then another. Every other pillar rose from the ground.
“DETONATE!” Ryan yelled, as he prepared himself for the explosion. Zach looked wildly at the other pillars as they began to glow. In a eruption of power the arena was blinded in light, and the Sand Balls were disengaged.
“What an Explosion!” Zato yelled into the microphone, as the audience watched on the edge of their seats. Nate nearly fell of the edge of the platform watching. The other participants of the watched in awe at the sheer power the two warriors were putting forth.
“That’s a bit intense isn’t it?” Tyler asked the others as they watched the smoke fill the air.
“This is insane! Ryan could’ve killed them both.” Nate said.
“I can sense both of them, but Zach’s energy signal seems off.” Dustin said a little worried.
“Shukaku.” Kyle whispered as he smirked.
Ryan groaned and let out a cough as he tried to get off the ground. When the explosion hit he was flung back and forth between the multiple blast and he body was sore, but he had to stop Zach. The smoke around him slowly began to subside as he pushed himself up. He was worried about Zach, and wondered what was going on. The eyes were just like………..
Ryan was distracted by a shadow in the smoke. It was completely round and confused him. As the smoke cleared out he noticed it was a giant ball of sand.
“He protected himself,” Ryan whispered to himself. He began to see more clearly, there were a lot of cracks in the ball of sand. It started to shake as Ryan took a step back. The ball of Sand burst open as Zach inhaled deeply. He bent over gasping for breath. He looked up at Ryan. Ryan saw he still had the black eyes with the yellow iris. He also noticed Zach looked worn and beaten. The blast must have gotten him a little.
“You think your plan to destroy all the sand so I wouldn’t control the battle field?” Zach in now a deeper voice asked. “I am the sand!” Zach threw his arms in the air wide as sand flowed out of his Sand Sheath, in a never ending stream. The sand began to swirled around the battle field as Ryan looked panicked. “How will you survive when even the air around you is sand. SAND HURRICANE!” Zach laughed as the Sand continued to swirl faster as the battle field was now a giant swirling Sand Hurricane, which no one could see into.
